At the Swedish Championship last week at Strömsholm, the Tullstorp students had great success. It was a double victory for Sara Henrietta B. Källström, who won both qualifying competitions on both Gina Tricot Garcia and Gina Tricot Diezel. Thereafter she won the final for the young riders with Gina Tricot Garcia. Marina Mattsson also won both qualifying competitions and finally won gold at the Swedish Championship for junior riders on the son of Bernstein named Beckham. Elin Aspnäs came second at both qualifying competitions for the junior riders and won silver at the final on Donna Romma, a just seven year old mare by Florestan.

18-year-old Elin Aspnäs also competed at the Swedish Championship for senior riders on Christo. They came second in the Intermediare II and seventh in the Grand Prix. Tinne Vilhelmson on Favourit won gold, Minna Telde and Larina Höm silver and Charlotte Haid on Lydianus bronze. Both Minna and Charlotte are part of the Jyra Kyrklund training program called “Knytkalaset” at Tullstorp that Kyra has been training for the last 11 years. These three medallists, Tinne Vilhelmson, Minna Telde and Charlotte Haid, will – together with Patrik Kittel – constitute the team representing Sweden at the World Championship in Kentucky this coming fall.
