Falsterbo 2024 – Double victory for Jessie & Dalton

A successful Falsterbo 2024 with victories and great placements in the finals

The greatest summer competition is of course Falsterbo Horse Show.

Once again, Falsterbo was a great experience, offering lots of high class competition in beautiful surroundings and great atmosphere.

We started out with the 6-year old dressage horses on Monday. There were so many combinations (in total 42) that they had to hold the semifinals for two days, Monday and Tuesday.

Winner of the seminfinals was Tullstorp rider Jessie Johansson & Dalton de Prepinson (Don Juan de Hus x Soliman de Hus, owner Haras de Prepinsin, Eva Schiller). The combination received not less than 83,184% with among others a 9 for trot and canter and 9,5 for future prospect. Placed 3rd is Tullstorp student Lovisa Wessblad from Hannell Dressage with Redhead (Revolution x Blue Hors Zack) with 79,417% with a 9,5 for the trot and future prospect and 9 for the canter. Lovisa was also placed 11th with Simmebros de Luze (Ironman H x Shooting Star) with 75,217%. All combinations were thereby qualified for the finals.

In the finals on Thursday, Jessie & Dalton made another victory with 79,892%. Lovisa & Redhead placed 6th with 75,436% and 11th with Simmebros de Luze with 71,619%.

Lovisa also competed two 4-year olds from Hannell Dressage. In the semifinals on Wednesday Lovisa & KS Frank Sinatra (Franklin x Fürst Romancier) were placed 5th with 82% and Lovisa & Lorenzi (Le Formidable x Sir Donnerhall I) were placed 7th with 79,6%,

In the finals for 4-year olds on Friday, Lovisa & Frank Sinatra advanced to a 3rd placement with 81,9%. With Lorenzo, Lovisa placed 7th with 78,1%.

Jessie also competed her own 7-year old mare Flow (Mr Vain GJ x Figaro R). In the semifinals on Thursday they were placed 4th with 76,082%. In the finals on Saturday, the combination was placed 7th.

The daguhter of Jan & Catharina Brink, 14-year old Angelina, also competed in the Gina Tricot Pony Kür. She competed the pony Ceramonte B (Calico G x Cui Bona) and was placed 2nd in the qualifying competition with 69,905%. In the kür finals on Wednesday, they rode a new kür to the tones of James Bond. The combination was placed 5th with 69,983%.

Hannell & Brink also sponsored the 3* Grand Prix on Saturday. The extra price was a huge champagne bottled and it was handed over to winner Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour by Jan & Angelina Brink.
