BACKGROUND

  • Born in Sweden 1960.
  • Plays hockey up to junior team level.
  • Starts riding at the local riding school at around 10-years of age.
  • Gets his first horse at the age of 13, a two-year old crossbred mare, competes both jumping and eventing.
  • Quits hockey to focus on riding in 1976.
  • Does his military service in Hässleholm.
  • Gets to know Britt & Bruno Albinsson in 1980 and they start a cooperation in what is later to become Tullstorp Dressage Stable AB.

EDUCATION

  • Starts elementary school at the age of 6.
  • Starts riding at the local riding school at around 12-years of age.
  • Graduates from elementary school in 1976 and is accepted to Flyinge’s winter equestrian short-term training program.
  • Gets riding education for some years with Georg Theodorescu in Warendorf, Germany.
  • Rides and trains for Herbert Rehbein in Germany for a couple of years.
  • Starts training for Kyra Kyrklund in the mid 90s and still does.

  • Was ranked no. 5 in the world during 2007.
  • Was 5th in the World Cup in Las Vegas 2007.
  • Was 4th with the team at the Olympic Games in Hong Kong 2008.
  • Was announced Trainer of the Year in Sweden 2012.
  • Has won more than 30 international Grand Prix.
  • Has produced 11 stallion performance test winners.
  • Has produced a total of 25 approved dressage stallions.
