Angelina & Tuschomie had an amazing Dressage Power final with double victory
This weekend, Angelina competed her junior horse Tuschomie in the great indoor Dressage Power finals at Smedstad Ridsportcenter, Linköping.
During the year, more than 30 junior riders have qualified to this great final. The 20 combinations with the highest qualification score were invited to participate at the semifinals on Saturday. The best 8 combinations then went on to the finals on Sunday.
Angelina competed the mare Tuschomie (Tuschinski x B.H. Romancier). They competed the semifinals in the FEI team test for juniors and won with 71,616%.
On Sunday, they rode the Freestyle finals with their brand new “The Devil Wears Prada” freestyle. They danced their way through a flawless test and were awarded with 78,225% from the judges – an absolute personal best and with a margin of 3,5% to the second placed combination Meja Kinde Ljungh & Iconographe.
Angelina & Tuschomie have been a combination for 1 year now and are truly a great match. Tuschomie – “Shumi” as she is called – is owned by 3 Graces Dressage, Carol & Rebecca Cohen from Florida, USA.
“I had the best feeling ever in the arena with her today! She was with me the whole time and I just kept smiling throughout the test. She loves the new music and so do I, I loved doing the Runway with her 🙂 It is bold and different but it suits her, the diva she is, and makes you happy. I am so thankful for Rebecca, Carol & Blake for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to ride this wonderful horse”, Angelina comments.
The combination also won the youth finals at Falsterbo Horse Show this summer and next will be the international competitions at Flyinge, Sweden, in 2 weeks.
